Making dinner fun rather than a battle. By creating a happy experience kids will be more responsive to eating dinner and trying new foods.

My 3 year old eats avocadoes that I splash with just a little bit of soy sauce, broccoli steamed with a little smart balance/butter, spinach in a spinach ball I make plus loves spanokopita, steamed carrots, and cukes. As far as fruit, she likes raspberries, pineapple, pears,cherries...and about another 9 on the list. Okay, I feel better about her veggie and fruit intake after reading your post! Thanks for the info.

Hello - I'm all about introducing new food to my toddler. This week it has been smoked salmon and walnut oatmeal burgers both of which she loved. I'll probably let her try something new 2x-3x/ week. If she doesn't like it I'll try again a few weeks later or prepare it differently.

Charlotte - An airplane spoon, that would help make dinner fun. When we play airplanes we also link it different airports we, family and friends have flown into to to give the game an extra dimension.

Michelle - sorry it took so long for your comment to show, it went into my spam. I would love to review your friends book but I'm unable to find a copy of it in Australia.

Hi! These ideas are great! There are more, just like them in my friend Jennifer's book, The Toddler Cafe. It is a fantastic book - Maybe you can take a look at it and tell your readers about it :-)
